Parade, the 39th annual, will take place on Saturday, March 15, 2008, at
12:00 noon. The Parade normally takes place on Market Street in downtown St.
Louis, between Broadway and 20th Street.
The Parade will be comprised of
over 120 units, including marching bands, floats, huge cartoon-character
balloons, 5000+ marchers, and lots of clowns. Over 200,000 spectators are

green ... everything.
The
dignitaries for this year will include a
member of the Irish government, who will be our Irish Guest of Honor. A

addition, Hon. Francis Slay, Mayor of St. Louis and other local and regional
officials, will join Parade General Chairman Kerry McDonough in leading this
year's Parade.
Food and drink will be sold at
numerous locations along the parade route. Many of the booths will serve
soft drinks, hot dogs, burgers, bratwurst, and beer, along with other snacks
and novelties. In addition, visit the
Irish Village, at Kiener Plaza, for food,
fun, and entertainment all day long.
A special viewing area for
disabled guests will be set up at the SE corner of 8th and Market. Adjacent
to the Viewing for the Disabled area will be a "Lost Parents" area. This is
