2010 St. Patrick's Day Activities Galore in Crosslake

The entire community is invited to become Irish this March and participate in the St. Patrick's Day activities in Crosslake. They include the area's best parade, a Pot 'O Gold treasure hunt, great specials at area businesses for people wearing their 2006 lucky button, a chance at many great prizes, and a pancake breakfast by the Crosslake firemen at the Crosslake Lutheran Church from 8 a.m. – noon.

St. Patrick’s Day Parade

The 32nd annual St. Patrick's Day Parade in Crosslake is sponsored by Edina Realty of Crosslake and Northwedge Greenhouse and Garden Gate Gifts and will begin at 2 p.m. on Saturday, March 18. The parade route travels south on County Road 66 from Log Landing road to the Crosslake Information Center, then ends north of Reed’s parking lot on Pioneer Drive and Swan Drive. An estimated 5,000 people converged into Crosslake during last year’s parade, and with the exciting activities, this years' event is sure to be even bigger and better. Floats may be registered by calling Ruth Ann in the Crosslake office of the Chamber at (218) 692-1828 or  the Pequot Lakes office of the Chamber at (218) 568-8911. There is no float entry fee for Chamber members, non-profits, and youth categories, but a $100 entry fee for all for profit businesses that are not Chamber members. Special traveling trophies will be awarded to the 1st place winners in both the business/organization and youth categories. Criteria for judging floats this year will be, creativity, originality and community. Show your community spirit and promote your business during this festive weekend.
