Is there a more Irish city in the United States than Boston? Saint Patrick's Day week is a fine time to take in the festivities and tour a bit of the city. Below are a few of the many events taking place in the Boston area to celebrate.

Colorful floats, music and Irish good cheer await you at the City's annual St. Patrick's Day parade. Celebrate Irish heritage in Boston's most Irish neighborhood.

Where to Watch
The parade begins at the Broadway 'T' Station and ends at Andrew Square, South Boston. Your best bet for viewing the parade is to stake out a spot anywhere along Broadway.

St. Patrick's Day Parade
Parade
starts at 1:00 pm. and will feature marching bands and pipe bands from throughout North America. The parade travels through South Boston - Boston's most Irish neighborhood.

Since 1901 this parade has become a prominent part of South Boston's history.
